Summary of Position

We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and optimistic Business Development Representatives to join our team here at Fortify. This role is critical in supporting our applications-focused go-to-market. You will be responsible primarily for cold prospecting and outbound sales strategies. You’ll manage inbound leads interested in Fortify’s solutions that are driven by outbound effort in addition to targeting ideal accounts and personas for an outbound approach.

What you’ll be doing
• You will be responsible primarily for cold prospecting and outbound sales strategies
• Generate new business pipeline through prospecting outbound opportunities
• Properly qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant
• Be / Become an expert at using lead generation tools to generate lists of target prospect accounts and
identifying the right persona(s)
• Familiar with an applications-focused sales approach
• Have a deep understanding of Fortify’s products, services, and ideal customer persona(s) & will always share
their learnings
• Manage and properly maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage prospects for the next steps
• Meet or exceed quota every month
• Have the ability to be outgoing and personable, with a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building
• Be proficient at using a sales development platform to execute the outreach process consisting of phone,
email, and social touches
• Have a working knowledge of CRM systems and how to collect/track data
• Strive to continuously improve your BDR process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best

We’d love to talk to you if you have
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 1-2 years of SDR/SDR, with a history of exceeding targets
• Be comfortable making 100+ dials a day to hit monthly/quarterly goals
• Expertise in selling enterprise technology business solutions in a complex sales environment both directly and
through strategic partners
• Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
• Are a skilled learner who can master the use of electronic devices
• Expertly use CRM and other service platforms (Salesforce, Outreach, Drift, LinkedIn)
• Want to be at the forefront of the next industrial revolution
• Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Professional experience with 3D printing, RF, or Injection Molding/Manufacturing is a significant plus
