Summary of position: 

As the Defense Account Manager, you will be able to tap into your creativity and curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people and organizations around the world. This position will report to the Director of Defense Programs and will work collaboratively with the entire Fortify team to support the scaling and development of our Defense portfolio.

This position will be responsible for:

● Building and cultivating relationships across your primary account and tangential
stakeholders in the DoD customer community and industry to identify opportunities for
collaboration and development with our core technologies in electromagnetics (RF), high
temperature materials, and industrial applications.
● Managing and contributing to strategic roadmaps and playbooks that identify
capabilities, gaps, and opportunities relevant to your account or their primary customers.
● Building, managing and closing a high value pipeline of collaboration opportunities,
delivering quantifiable results that will be tracked and presented to Fortify senior
leadership.
● Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with the internal Fortify
organizations (Engineering, Operations, Product, Customer) to understand current and
future capabilities, and to be the voice of the customer to inform and shape internal
priorities and efforts.
● Present Fortify capabilities to various audiences at conferences, symposia, or customer
engagements.

Basic Qualifications:
● Technical university degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience, or an advanced
degree in a related field and 8 years of experience.
● At least 4 years of research/development, product and/or project management
experience.
● Demonstrated experience driving growth, leveraging best practices in business and
project management.
● Demonstrated leadership with responsibility to set priorities, track & drive execution.
● Proven ability to listen, negotiate, influence, and persuade others.
● Previous experience presenting to senior leadership and both technical and non-
technical customers
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
● US Citizenship or US Person required

● Experience with agile hardware development methodologies and toolsets
